    The advanced, 10-bit architecture of the Barco® MDCG-2121 enables1,024 shades of gray simultaneously out of an existing palette of4,096 shades. This produces the most accurate image possible on thescreen and helps subtle details pop with less panning or zooming.Uniform luminance technology maintains consistent brightness levelsacross the screen, from the center to corner, so that no abnormalitygoes undetected. Additionally, the anti-reflective, protective frontcover improves image contrast while preventing damage to the screenand making disinfecting easier and safer for the electroniccomponents.
    Automatic calibration and QA checks
    As you progress through your daily workflow free of interruptions,the integrated MediCal QAWeb® software automatically calibrates theBarco® MDCG-2121 in alignment with medical standards, includingDICOM, and conducts QA checks.     Continuous DICOM compliance in all lighting conditions
    Whenever the lighting conditions around your workstation shiftever so subtly, the Barco® MDCG-2121 has you covered. Barco®’spatented ambient lighting compensation (ALC) technology—a built-in,front-of-screen sensor—continuously detects changes in thesurrounding lighting and automatically adjusts monitor brightness inreal-time to DICOM. I-Guard® technology further maintains DICOMcompliance by correcting image quality, including grayscale values,in response to lighting changes.
