    ~ A RARE,GENUINE, AND AUTHENTIC ~
    LARGE TIBETAN BUDDHIST AMBER BEAD.
    I have searched hundreds of "Amber Bead" ebay listings and almost without exception they are
    imitations and fakes. There is very little if any actual "Amber" for sale here.
    I bought this item myself over 46 years ago at a small shop in San Francisco near the junction of
    Broadway and Columbus
    avenues.
    It was run by Tibetan nationals for the propose of funding displaced
    refugees still
    living in the Himalayas. (many in Nepal)
    Clothes, Jewelry, traditional Hand Made Paper, T
    hankas, and woven bags were among the many items
    offered in this charming ethnic store.
    As this is actually a genuine Tibetan Buddhist Amber bead showing age, significant and appropriate wear,
    coloration and translucence it is really quite valuable and is priced accordingly.
