This is new item but was a designer sample, not even given a style number, hangtag or internal size tag, the underarm to underarm is 17 1/2 inches. The fabric is a very stretchy spandex, so this item would easily stretch to fit a 36 inch bust. The sequin is even mounted onto a lycra base. There is no hem on this dress and it doesn't need one since the fabric does not ravel. You could cut it off shorter or trim the hem with something. The sequin is very unusual as it has a plum wash on it to match the fabric. The bodice is lined with the spandex so it isn't itchy. This dress would have sold to dance teachers for over . I have only this one, from shoulder to hem is around 30 inches. BT217
