Vintage 1940s VOGUE Composition? Toddles Bride Doll 8"
I am not 100% sure that this is the "Toddles" bride doll. I determined this from reading about vintage Vogue dolls. Because I cannot confirm the doll model, I am selling the doll AS IS.
CONDITION
The dress and accessories are in very good condition. I see no stains, rips, tears, or loose threads.
The body is in very good condition, except for the flaws listed below.
FLAWS
There is a crack under the nose.
It looks like the left eye has a manufacturing defect. The skin-colored paint goes into the left eye a little bit. Also, the right eye either has a manufacturing defect, or the paint has been chipped off, as there is white in the part of the eye where you should see blue and black.
The head is a little loose. There is between 1/8" and 1/4" of "play"/movement in the head from front to back.
The right arm doesn't stay in position. When you push it down to the doll's side and then let go, the arm swings back up to the position in which it is shown in the photos.
The hair is a little matted and out of place.
