VINTAGE FIGURINE MADE BY MORTENS STUDIO AROUND THE 1940'S. MORTENS STUDIO WAS LOCATED IN CHICAGO AND IN OPERATION FROM 1931 UNTIL THE 1950'S.  EACH FIGURE BEGINS WITH A METAL FRAME AND THEN COVERED WITH PLASTER AND A PORCELAIN GLAZE.  THIS DOG IN SOLID AND SLIGHTLY HEAVY.  LARGE SIZE GOLDEN COCKER SPANIEL DOG STANDING IN A SHOW POSE WITH HEAD UP.  THE DOG IS 7" X 5.25" TAL.  STAMPED IN GOLD UNDERSIDE, THIS IS NOT A LABEL IT WILL NOT COME OFF.  IN GOOD ESTATE FOUND CONDITION.  IT DOES HAVE SOME PAINT CHIPS ON BACK OF DOG (BACK LEGS/TAIL & A FEW OTHER AREAS)  PLEASE ZOOM IN TO SEE PICTURES.
